Risk Disclosure
HIGH RISK WARNING
Contracts for Difference (CFDs) are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. A significant percentage of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
1. Leverage Risk
Trading with leverage means that a small market movement can have a proportionally much larger impact on your deposited funds. This can work both for and against you. A leveraged position of 1:500 means that a 0.2% adverse market movement could result in a total loss of your margin. You may be required to deposit additional funds at short notice to maintain your positions, and failure to do so may result in automatic position closure at a loss.
2. Market Risk
Financial markets are subject to rapid and unpredictable price movements caused by economic events, political developments, natural disasters, and other factors beyond the control of 10xTrade. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Prices may gap, meaning your order may be executed at a significantly different price than expected.
3. Technology Risk
Online trading is subject to technology risks including internet connectivity issues, hardware failures, software bugs, and cybersecurity threats. While 10xTrade implements robust technology infrastructure, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. You should have contingency plans for managing your positions in case of technical difficulties.
4. Counterparty Risk
When you trade CFDs with 10xTrade, you are trading with us as the counterparty. Your positions are not executed on a regulated exchange. In the event of our insolvency, you may not receive the full value of your funds, although client funds are held in segregated accounts with tier-1 banks.
5. Suitability
CFD trading is not suitable for all investors. You should not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose. Before trading, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. Seek independent financial advice if you are unsure whether CFD trading is appropriate for you.
6. No Guarantees
10xTrade makes no representations or warranties regarding the profitability of any trading strategy, signal, or recommendation. Any educational content or market analysis provided is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as investment advice.
